In early 2016 I asked some friends and collaborators to please send me recordings of the sound of some sort of everyday occurrence happening around them. What was returned was the sound of typing, counting money with a machine, doing dishes, floor sanders, taking a kayak into a lake on a full-moon midnight. These became the basis of this collection of pieces, each of which are their own sound world, with attention bouncing between the sound of another life and the accompanying musical passages.
